Since November 2014 — soloist of the Bolshoi Opera Company.
She graduated from the Rostov State Rachmaninoff Conservatory with a degree in choir conducting and solo singing, and studied at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Centre.
In 2005-2014, she was a soloist at the Moscow Novaya Opera Theatre.
Since 2009 — guest soloist of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
On July 15, 2015, «Carmen» by G. Bizet was premiered on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theatre, in which Agunda Kulaeva performed the title role.
2016 – title role in «Carmen» (directed by Franco Zefirelli) at the Arena di Verona.
2017 – Konchakovna in «Prince Igor» (directed by Dmitri Tcherniakov) at Dutch National Opera.
2018 – Ulrica in «Un ballo in maschera» at the Israeli Opera.
2019 – title role in «Carmen» at the New National Theatre, Tokyo and the role of Preziosilla («La Forza del Destino») at Deutsche Oper Berlin.
She has collaborated with such conductors as Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Vladimir Fedoseev, Yuri Simonov, Vladimir Minin, Mikhail Pletnev, Alexander Vedernikov, Tugan Sokhiev, and others.
